Ed Wall is the President and Chief Executive Officer of NETSHIELD, Inc. Ed entered into his role as CEO of NETSHIELD after 30+ years in law enforcement and public safety service. His executive leadership roles have included oversight and implementation of large cyber-security systems and protocols to protect data, privacy and critical system operations. He established the Intelligence Fusion Center in the state of Wisconsin, which focused on counter terrorism and criminal information sharing across public safety agencies nationwide. Ed served on the Governor’s Homeland Security Council for 9 years, holding a Tier 3 Secret level national security clearance. Ed was a member of the cyber security working group and routinely engaged in cyber resiliency / vulnerability testing to protect department operating systems, data and privacy.
Ed served as a City of Meriden, CT. Police Officer for 4 years and a New Hampshire State Trooper for 10 years before being appointed as a Special Agent in the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI). He rose through the ranks to become Administrator of the DCI and was actively involved in establishing or expanding specialized units dealing with Computer Crimes, Computer Forensics, Internet Crimes Against Children, Intelligence and Counter Terrorism. Ed also served in two gubernatorial appointments (Republican and Democrat) as Administrator of the Division of Emergency Management and Secretary of the Department of Corrections, where he oversaw the state’s largest cabinet agency with over 10,000 employees and a biennial budget over $2.65 billion dollars.
Director of Channel Sales
After graduating as President of her class in 2010 and receiving her Bachelor’s Degree from New England College in Henniker, NH, Heather went on to spend 7 years working at a leading U.S. IT Solutions Provider. While developing her sales career, she expanded her account base and connected with many of the top leading technology manufacturers. Those relationships sparked her interest in Channel development, resulting in her transition to Product Management, where she became a key resource in strategically driving channel growth for HP Print.
Heather brings a creative, energetic, and proactive approach to her role as Director of Channel Sales at NetSHIELD. She strongly believes the success of NETSHIELD Corp. is directly aligned with the Channel and valued partners.
Vice President of Global Support
Brian is a senior member of NETSHIELD’s leadership team with oversight and responsibility for pre and post-sales support, training, customer experience and ensuring the success of a global partner network. He has over 25 years of experience as a senior support management professional with a strong technical background and extensive expertise leading multi-national technical customer support teams. Brian’s experience spans multiple market segments including cloud and enterprise networking, healthcare and network security.
Brian holds a BSEET from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell and an MBA with a focus on international business from Southern New Hampshire University.
He believes the success of an organization is built upon the success of employees, partners and customers.
Vice President of Research & Development
David brings a broad range of experience to the NETSHIELD team, including over 20 years in software and systems quality assurance and project management, and ranging from enterprise products to the defense industry.
As a strong believer that quality starts when a project starts, he brings a project management approach and dedication to keeping the information flowing and the team well informed. David is dedicated to thorough documentation of test plans, processes and procedures wherever possible to keep the team informed without burdening the creativity of the team.
Lead Software Engineer
Chris Gauthier is our Lead Software Engineer. He’s an early stage engineering team leader who is also the chief software architect for NETSHIELD and coinventor of the AppCrusher. He’s a hands on coder, team leader and passionate white hat with a strong ethical hacking background. Chris loves to challenge the team and himself to always find new ways to improve the Privacy Shield Embedded SDK and our AppCrusher technology on Android, iOS, Windows and through the Cloud. Chris brings over 15 years of engineering skills to the table, having developed numerous database intensive and mobile applications over the years for AimCare, the Kevrick Company and Thornbrook Software, to name a few. He has a degree in Physics with a background in CS from Gettysburg College.

Scott is the outside Corporate Counsel for NETSHIELD. He grew up in Clifton Park, New York, a small town just south of Saratoga Springs, New York. He earned a B.A. from Amherst College in Amherst, MA in 1982, and a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, IL in 1985. Scott has been practicing law in Nashua, NH since 1985. He spent the first 9 years of his career at Sullivan & Gregg, P.A., and left to open his own firm in 1994. He married Sheelu, who is the residential director at Nashua Children’s Home. Scott has a daughter Jane, who will be a senior at Mt. Holyoke College, a son Calvin who will be a sophomore at the Berklee College of Music, and his youngest daughter Mia. Scott served by appointment of the New Hampshire Supreme Court on the New Hampshire Board of Bar Examiners from 1991-2001, writing and grading the bar exam. He was appointed by the New Hampshire Supreme Court to serve as a member of the New Hampshire Judicial Branch Dispute Resolution Committee in 2007. He is also currently the clerk for the Alternative Dispute Resolution section of the New Hampshire Bar Association. He is a member of the board of directors of the New England chapter of the Association for Conflict Resolution (“NEACR”), and served as President of that chapter in 2007-08.
Thomas J. McGinnis
Patent Counsel, Finch & Maloney PLLC
Tom has extensive experience in law and technology. Prior to joining Finch & Maloney, Tom worked as an associate and senior associate for Lando & Anastasi in Cambridge, MA. Prior to law school, Tom worked in software development, systems analysis, and implementation for companies including Radiant Systems (acquired by NCR) and Ashland Petroleum. He has personally developed and managed the development of software written for a variety of computing platforms including web servers, cell phones, and specialized computing devices. Tom has experience implementing and integrating enterprise-level applications with existing architectures. He uses the insight gained from nearly a decade of business and technical experience in the software and petroleum industries to maximize his clients’ return on their intellectual property investments.
Tom’s academic achievements include a J.D., magna cum laude, from Franklin Pierce Law Center, an M.B.A. from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a B.S. in Computer Science with High Distinction and Departmental Honors from the University of Kentucky. Tom is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.
